More reputable sources confirm iPhone 14 Pro will have a quality 48MP camera

Mark Gurman recently once again confirmed that the iPhone 14 series or at least the "Pro" models will be equipped with a 48MP camera by Apple when they launch later this year.

In a new Power On video, Gurman reiterates much of what we've heard before about the iPhone 14. Specifically, Apple is sticking with a design that closely resembles its current best iPhone, the iPhone 13.

Gurman reiterated his previous prediction that a "pill-shaped" cutout for Face ID will replace the notch on the iPhone 14 Pro. He also repeated the statement that Apple will get rid of the "mini" iPhone 14 in favor of the "Max" iPhone 14.

The biggest revelation is that the iPhone 14 Pro will have a 48MP wide-angle camera for better photos. A recent feature was also shared by analyst Ming-Chi Kuo.

Gurman said the camera on the standard iPhone 14 will still be a 12MP sensor. He also reiterated rumors that Apple may add emergency messaging and SOS via satellite to the next generation of iPhones.

Finally, Gurman said Apple is working on fresh colors for the iPhone. Reports on Saturday suggest that one of those colors could be a color-shifting purple on the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Pro.

If nothing changes, Apple will officially launch its next iPhone models later this year.
